Welcome to my fugue site!
Okay, so there are not many frills here yet. I'm putting my counterpoint up here. I have no gift with the graphic arts. I might include some notes on this page; otherwise, I'm not sure how to construct this thing. I suppose this is for friends only--or mostly, but if you should happen on this page, well... Have a look; it might be fun, depending on whether you like this sort of thing. These Fugues/inventions are in chronological order.
The left set of links uses a plug-in called "Scorch." If you have problems, or are simply in mortal terror of such things, I'm working to include PDF versions of all the files. The PDF pages have MIDI background music, so you should be able to read and listen.
I may include live played versions of these if I can convince myself to include them.
Only the CM invention was the result of a school assignment, everything else is for fun. I've recently completed a C Major fugue which uses a longer version of the subject of the CM invention. This is a subject which I stuffed into a notebook a long time ago--maybe even before I went to PSU.
Writing counterpoint is fun for me--sort of like knitting or doing needlepoint. I just do it when my mind is restless--which is, like, most of the time. Therefore, I have lots of it, but I'm only putting stuff up here that is more or less finished.
My plan: I'll keep writing these until I get really good at it?? Other than that, not much. After that, who knows!?!?!
My plan for this page: I'm not sure. I might include an "about me" page. Maybe I'll include some other music related stuff.
About this page: I'm using a combination of FrontPage and Notepad. FrontPage is fast, but it's not that robust. If I keep this thing up, I'll probably switch to DreamWeaver.

Yay! I finally got here! I've been trying since Harper posted the link at teh wheel on Friday.
She said earlier in an email that she hoped my Sabbath was going well... If you see her (heh), please tell her that it's sure to now!
Je t'aime, David.
I adore you...
So, when are you going to post some of your new works?
